Sutjeska goes top of group B
KK Sutjeska went to first place of group B after another win. The Niksic team defeated 79-56 SK Tirana away and is now solely in command at the top. Tirana on the other side needs to win its two remaining games in order to have any hopes of advancing. Next week Sutjeska will host KB Peja in an important game while Tirana′s next outing will be on January 17th against Karpos Sokoli.
A 6-2 start for Tirana was followed by a 13-0 Sutjeska run after which the visitors took over. They kept their advantage until the first quarter finished and then increased it. Soon it reached double digits and it was 16 points after 20 minutes of play. In the second half the visitors controlled the game, never allowed the hosts to come close and won without any pressure.
Jermayne Thomas was the top scorer for the winners tonight with 19 points. Nikola Lalic and Marko Djurkovic also did well as they had 13 points apiece.
Genti Lasku was the top scorer for the home side with 16 points. Gerti Shima and 15 and 10 rebounds while Endrit Hysenagolli 14 and 12. However Ramme and Johnson had only 2 points combined which proved to be too big damage for Tirana.
