KB Bashkimi once again showed its good form in recent weeks. The Prizren team hosted BC Beroe and won 83-66 for its fourth straight victory in group A. The difference was important as the home side will now have the advantage in a potential tie-breaker with its opponent. With it Bashkimi is now at 4-4 record and has a very good chance of goind further. Beroe on the other side is with 4-3 record and is also in a good position.

 

After an even first quarter Bashkimi made a lot of damage in the second. A 12-2 start to it made it a 9-point game but still Beroe stayed in it. In the last 90 seconds of the first half though the hosts scored 7 points in a row to go up by 11.

 

A 9-2 run in the third quarter brought the visitors back to just 4 points deficit and they stayed close after. They never tied the score but still after 30 minutes were down only by 6. A 7-0 run by Bashkimi made it 11-point difference with 7:40 to go and after that the visitors never recovered.

 

Eric Palm was the top scorer for the winners  with 24 points while also adding 6 assists. Kejuan Johnson had another good game with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists as Marko Popovic added 16 points.

 

Shane Gibson was the top scorer for Beroe with 15 points. Three other players - Omari Gudul, Tihomir Zhelev and Aaron Jones had 10 points each which however wasn′t enough.
