KK Kumanovo 2009 secured its ticket to the Second Stage of SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League after defeating the defending BIBL champion KB Sigal Prishtina, 86-68. 

Aleksandar Kostoski had a decent stat line in his last game with the Kumanovo team jersey, and he is BIBL′s choice as Round 8 MVP of the Regular Season Stage. 
28-year-old guard had a great shooting night and reached a performance index rating of 37, which was the highest among all players in the eighth week of BIBL action.

Kostoski scored 29 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, dashed 6 assists and added a steal in 35 minutes on the court. He stayed perfect on a 6-of-6 of his 2-point shooting, and also made 5-of-9 beyond the arc. 

The weekly runner-up for the MVP honor goes to the power forward of KB Peja Noah Dahlman, who had an index rating of 29. American guard of KB Bashkimi Eric Palm, and point guard of KK Kozuv Kenyon McNeail, both followed with an index rating of 26.
