Feni wins a thrilling last game for 2016

MKK Feni Industries led from start to finish and registered a thrilling victory in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League last game for 2016. The Macedonian team defeated KB Peja, 90-88, in a postponed Round 6 match of the First BIBL Stage′s Group B, and stayed perfect at home in its own "Jasmin Hall" in Kavadarci.

Feni improved to 5-3, while the team of head coach Aleksandar Todorov fell to 4-3.

The home side started on a great note and gained a double-digit lead early in the first quarter. Feni′s 14-0 run limited the visitors to only 5 points in the opening five minutes, but Peja managed to cut its deficit to 21-28 after 10 minutes on the court. The trend of balanced contributions continued in a strong second period, when Feni Industries had another 14 points margin to keep the pressure on Peja for 48-39 at half time.  

 
However, nothing changed after the break, except for the fact that the home side increased its edge to 19 points midway through the second half. High flying plays from Lamarcus Reed and Austin Tillotson got Peja almost tied at 88-89 with 8 seconds to go, but a free throw of Andrej Magdevski allowed the hosts to pull away.   

George Sharabidze led the winners with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Matija Ceshkovic added 20 points and Jane Petrovski had 15.

LaMarcus Reed finished with 21 points for Peja. Alban Veseli answered with 18, and Austin Tillotson scored 15.
