Lots of unknows before the final games in group A

With total of eight games games to go in group A, we still have lots of unknows as to which teams will qualify for the Second Stage.

One thing is certain - KK Kumanovo 2009 is the only team in the competition that has a spot guaranteed and the team can play without any pressure in its final two games. Currenly Kumanovo has 6-2 record, is sitting at the top of the table and is already looking for the decisive matches.

The other Macedonian team - KK Kozuv and KB Sigal Prishtina are in the worst position in the group. The teams are occupying the last two places in it and have two games to play between themselves. Kozuv has a total of three games left and needs to win all three of them in order to have a real chance of qualifying. Of course it can happen also with just two victories but that will also depends on a lot of other results.

KB Sigal Prishtina has four games to play and will be looking to win at least three of them. If that happens there is a real possibility that the champions will continued to defend their title. However they still need to adjust their roster and find some new players because currently the rotation is really short and that is causing real damage during the games. Sigal needs to play Beroe, Kozuv and Bashkimi at home and will visit the Macedonian side.

KK Teodo and KB Bashkimi are tied for the second place with 4-4 record and have a very good chance of advancing. We can say even from now that the match between the two teams in Prizren on January 24th will decide which team will progress. A week earlier Teodo will visit Beroe and Bashkimi will play in Prishtina and if both sides win those match they′ll go further. However if they lose them then we′ll be in for a great game in the final round in which the winner will take it all. 

Beroe is in fourth position in the group with 4-3 record and a game less. It′s against Sigal Prishtina on January 10th as it will be the first in the New Year. If the Stara Zagora team wins it than it will already be qualified even with two games left to play. After that Beroe has to go out at home against Teodo and Kumanovo and the team will have two chances to consolidate its position in the Second Stage.
