All six teams in group B with a chance for the Second Stage
With seven games left to play in group B of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League, there is no team to be 100% sure of qualification. There are few who are in a very good position and have better chance than the others.
KK Sutjeska is with 5 wins and 3 losses and has two games left - away at Feni and at home at Trepca. One win will qualify the team for the Second Stage but that can even happen with two defeats although it depends on other results.
MKK Feni Industries has the same 5-3 record and will play against Sutjeska at home and against Karpos Sokoli 2000 away. The Macedonians have the same possibilities as Sutjeska - a win will 100% make them progress while with two losses they will have to depend on other results.
KB Peja is occupying the third spot with 4-3 record and one game less. Until the end the team needs to play Trepca twice and SK Tirana at home. To be 100% certain of its place in the Second Stage The Yellows have to win two of those games. It can also happen with just one win but then the difficulties and the calculation will be more complicated.
KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 has 3-5 record and one clear goal - to win its two remaining games which should be enough. The team has to play SK Tirana away and Feni Industries at home so two victories should be enough for the Second Stage. One against Tirana can also be good for the fourth position but then Trepca would also have to get only one victory in its three remaining games.
SK Tirana has the same 3-5 record and also a hard task. The Albanians have to play KK Karpos Sokoli at home and KB Peja away. A win against the first opponent by at least 5 points will put the team in a very good position and then Tirana will have to hope that Trepca will not take more than one victory. However a defeat against Karpos will make things extremely difficult and even a victory against Peja in the last round may not be enough.
KB Trepca is currently last with 3-4 record and also a game less. It′s clear that the team has an extremely difficult task because it needs to win twice in those matches - two against Peja and away at Sutjeska. Only one victory should not be enough because either Karpos or Tirana will finish at 4 and both teams hold the tie-breaker advantage against the one from Mitrovica. This is why Trepca has to get two wins from three games and this is the only real chance for the club to qualify.
