Domestic leagues: Beroe is one step away from the finals

BC Beroe needs one more win in order to advance to the finals of the National Basketball league in Bulgaria.

The team from Stara Zagora prevailed against Cherno more to secure 2-0 lead in the series after 102-68 in Game 1, and then 87-81 in Game 2.

In the first match Beroe dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More′s 28. They outrebounded Cherno More 39-26 including 29 on the defensive glass.

In Game 2 the hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Tihomir Zhelev scored 22 points, while  Brandis Raley-Ross added 19 points.
