Another defeat for BC Beroe

SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League defending champion BC Beroe lost a friendly match against BC Rilski sportist at Arena Samokov, 87-91.

 

It was a close game, as it all came down to the second half, when the hosts had a better 3-point shooting and managed to gain a double digit advantage twice. The team from Stara Zagora had a chance to re-gain the lead but back-to-back threes of Martin Marinov sealed the win for Rilski.

 

Aleksandar Yanev led Beroe with 21 points in losing effort. Derek Wright scored 21 for the winners.
