Domestic leagues: A comeback win for Akademik, easy for Rilski Sportist

Akademik Bultex 99 recorded its second straight win in Bulgarian league. In a battle between two BIBL contestants the Plovdiv team visited BC Levski 2014 and took an 82-70 victory.

The home side played better in the first half and had a good lead. However in the third quarter the visitors hit four triples in a roun to complete a comeback and after taking a good advantage managed to keep it. 

Shakir Smith was the top scorer for the winners with 18 points as 15 and 12 assists had Isaiah Umipig. Deyan Karamfilov and Aleksandar Milov led Levski with 12 points each.

Rilski Sportist had no problems with the young team of Cherno more and recorded its first win of the season. The Samokov squad took 120-73 victory after dominating for 40 minutes.

Samuel Francis was the top scorer with 18 points as 17 apiece had Travis Taylor and Martin Marinov.
