Historic first win in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League for KK Ibar
Ibar Rozaje recorded a historic first win in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League in high-scoring game against SK Tirana - 107-102.
Ibar, so far in the season averaging 71.5 points per game, scored almost the same number in the first half alone to lead by 20 at the break - 67-47.
Tirana played much better in the second half and almost cought up the hosts in the last quarter.
Gerti Shima scored 42 seconds before the final whistle, to make it 3-point game, but Filip Simic returned the basket in the next offense for Ibar, to deny Tirana′s last gasp.
Ibar used quite limited roster, with Gerel Simmons and Filip Simic playing full 40 minutes. Simmons scored 25 points, Simic and Nedim Felec added 20.
As usual Shima led Tirana in scoring with 32 points, Endrit Hysenagolli had 30 and 14 rebounds, and Jalil Abdul-Bassit scored 22.
