Big derby coming up in Sofia and a really important clash in Tirana

The schedule of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League will offer us two really important games tonight. First we have the big Bulgarian derby between BC Levski Lukoil and BC Rilski Sportist and then also SK Tirana against BC Akademik Bultex 99.

Levski and Rilski played just three days ago in Bulgarian league and that match will be a fresh memory for both sides. That′s why after the drama in Samokov the players would like to offer us the same entertainment and of course will fight for the win. Levski lost its first game with the new roster last week so the players will be hoping to improve their performance and especially would love to get one over that same opponent. However to reach the Final Four directly will be a tough task so Levski as Blokotehna is already there and Rilski is also overwhelming favourite to qualify. The Samokov team will be giving 100% in order to erase the memory from that unfortunate game a few days ago. Coach Hadjisotirov will be counting a lot on the experience of Wright, Bozov, Marinov and Georgiev together with the energy of Taylor, Jeter and Marincheshki.

The game in Tirana is even more important regarding the standings in the competition. Both Tirana and Akademik are trying to get the best possible position before the playoffs so they′ll be giving it all. The Albanian champions are of course relying on Hysenagolli, Shima, Brckov and Abdul-Bassit for a good performance so they′ll be trying to lead the team. Akademik improved under the basket by adding Maravic and Dimitrov and by adding them to Umipig, Smith and Durchev makes it a great roster. The Plovdiv side will be trying to win tonight and consolidate its position in the Top 4 for a better place before the playoffs.
