Levski Lukoil secured an easy home win
BC Levski Lukoil added another win to his tally in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The Blues had an easy time before downing KK Ibar 95-53 at home. The Bulgarian side managed to build a big advantage after a dominating second quarter and cruised on after that. Levski now has 5-5 record and on Thursday will host Bashkimi. Ibar on the other side is with 1-10 and next week will visit SK Tirana in a direct battle for a place in the playoffs.
The visitors shot well early and stayed in the game. That was before Levski made a 19-4 run to go up by 13 points although they finished the first period leading by 9. However the good moment for The Blues continued in the second quarter as a strong defense led to a good offense and bigger advantage. At the break the difference was 28 points and everything was already decided. In the second half the hosts continued to increase its advantage to finish the game with over 40 points in their favour.
The big difference in the match was the three-point shooting. Levski hit 14 from 24 attempts while Ibar was just 4 of 21 with 3 of those made shots coming in the first five minutes of the game.
Nemanja Milosevic had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds adding also 4 assists for the win. Bozhidar Avramov hit 16 points as the captain Aleks Simeonov hda 13.
Ibar was led by Nedim Felec who was the top scorer in the game with 24 points. Maurice Jeffers had a double-double with 11 and 13 rebounds as Danilo Draskovic added 10 and 7.
