Veselin Veselinov: Defense was the key

Veselin Veselinov was one of the players to make a difference in BC Levski Lukoil′s semifinal win against KK Blokotehna-NB. He came off the bench to play 21 minutes and finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds and a lot of good defensive possessions. Here are his comments after the end of the game: 

"Yes, we started off really bad. We just didn′t play good defense in the first quarter when they scored 27 points. After that we made stops, we got confidence in offense, hit some open shots and got back in the game before the break. The key today was the defense.

In the locker room at the break we said that the game just started and have to come out with better energy, execute better and just make the open shots."
