Domestic leagues: Hard win for Beroe, second one for Academic Bultex 99

BC Beroe recorded win Nr. 4 since the start of the Bulgarian league. The Stara Zagora team visited Yambol and had a hard time before taking 89-82 victory.

The hosts led for almost the whole game but came up short at the end. Before the last quarter started they were up by a points but Beroe managed to capitalize on some errors by the home side and took the win.

Conner Frankamp had 27 points for the visitors as Adonis Filer added 17.

BC Academic Bultex 99 defeated Spartak Pleven 85-68 away to record its second win of the campaign. The Plovdiv side did the damage after a strong first half. They were up by 12 after ten minutes and by more than 20 at the break which was more than enough.

Vasil Bachev was the top performer for the winners with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Peter Olisemeka had 16 and 13 as Nikola Vujovic added 11 points.

After this round Beroe is fourth in the standings with 4-2 record while Academic follows with 2-4.
