Marjan Ilievski: We made a lot of mistakes on defense

KK Blokotehna suffered its second defeat in the Balkan League after losing to Beroe away. Here is what the head coach Marjan Ilievski had to say after the match was over:

"We had a tough games in Macedonian league two days ago and we have some injured players but the same can be said about Beroe. Despite all the problems the home team had, their players showed really good speed and consistency. We tried a lot of three-pointers which we didn′t make and also made a lot of mistakes on defense. 

Our goals in the Balkan League are to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the Final. If we managed  to achieve that, than we′ll try to get to the best possible position."

Goran Glavchev finished with 10 points, 7 assista and 5 rebounds for the Macedonians but it wasn′t enought. Here is what the captain of the team had to say after the end of the contest: 

"I think this was one of our worst games in the Balkan League so far. We approached some situations very selfishly choosing to shoot from distance instead of trying to set a good offense and score a basket. The truth however is also that the hard game in our local league took away our power and we weren′t fresh enough for the match in Stara Zagora."
