Aleks Jonchevski: We changed the defense in the second half but couldn′t complete the comeback

KK Kozuv suffered a defeat in the derby of Gevgelija against Blokotehna and lost all of its chance for reaching the Final 4. Here is what the head coach of the team Aleksandar Jonchevski had to say after the match was over:

"It was a deserved win for Blokotehna. They controlled the score in the first half and then we tried to change something in our defense. We managed to do well and come close to them which opened the game again. However in the end we didn′t succeed to complete the comeback. I congratulate Blokotehna and wish them all the best in the Final 4."  

Igor Kesar was one of Kozuv′s best players on the court as he finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Here are his words following the match:

I think we opened the game well but in the second quarter our level went down. I think that the fact that we allowed them to go up by 10 points cost us the game at the end. We′ll try to improve and finish the season in BIBL in a good way."
