Domestic leagues: Beroe defeats Rilski to go back in second place

BC Beroe recorded its 14th win in Bulgarian league. The Stara Zagora team hosted BC Rilski Sportist and took 84-77 victory.

After an even first half the hosts managed to pull away in the third quarter. With a strong run they built a lead, which was increased to double digits in the fourth period. After that the hosts controlled the game and had no problems.

Conner Frankamp was the top scorer for the winners with 28 points as Aleksandar Yanev added 17.

Beroe is now second in the standings with 14 wins and 4 defeats while Academic Bultex 99, which rested this round, is 5th with 8-10 record.
