Domestic leagues: Blokotehna wins another, Kozuv lost away

KK Blokotehna-NB won another game in North Macedonian league after beating Kumanovo 80-65 away. The Gevgelija side didn′t start well and had to make some changes before taking a 5-point advantage at the break. After it things worked even better as the visitors went further ahead and won without any problems.

Kenet Funderburg was again the top scorer for the win with 19 points as Bozo Djumic and Brandon Penn had 18 and 8 rebounds apiece.

In the meantime KK Kozuv suffered a defeat away at Gostivar 72-84. The home team went to a strong start and took 10-point lead after one quarter. From that moment on they controlled the difference and sealed off Kozuv′s challenge.

Igor Kesar had a great game for the visitors with 35 points and 10 rebounds as Vladimir Ivelja added 12 and 7.

With five rounds to go in the Superleague Blokotehna is tied for third place with Gostivar having 18-7 record while Kozuv is fifth with 13-12.
