Domestic leagues: Barsy Atyrau is through to the final

BC Barsy Atyrau reached the final in Kazakhstan league. The Greens won against Almaty 70-63 at home and thus won the series 2-0. In the final Barsy will meet the current champions Astana.

Barsy started well and took an 11-point lead after ten minutes but the visitors cut it to 3 at the break. In the second half the home team managed to keep up a small advantage which at the end was enough to get the final victory.

Donte McGill was the top scorer for the winners with 23 points. Arkadiy Mkrtychyan had 15 points as Vladimir Ivanov added a double-double with 11 and 10 rebounds.
