Peja returns, Rahoveci to debut in a BIBL Kosovo derby
The second game of the first week in the Balkan League is already a derby, The two Kosovo teams - KB Peja and KB Rahoveci will meet tonight at 19.00 hrs local time in what should be a really interesting encounter.
Peja is returning to the league after two years of absence and certainly has some big ambitions. The Black and Yellows built an ambitious roster in the off season and will hope to start well against one of the up and coming teams in Kosovo. Peja will count on the experience of Malcolm Armstead to run the team while Morgan, Martin, Sirko and Hajrizi will have to provide quality and boost to the squad.
In the meantime Rahoveci is a new team to the Balkan League but there are some players with experience in the competition. The most notable one is Alban Veseli but we can also mention Rron Grapci, Arian Callakaj and Leonard Mekaj although he is injured and won′t be playing tonight. When adding to them the foreigners Howard, Gray, Booth and Gunjina and the experience of coach Neven Plantak, then we can see that Rahoveci is a really dangerous and ambitious team. It′s not a surprise that they were the Kosovo cup and league finalists last season and will for sure look to do well in their first international experience.
