Domestic leagues: Rahoveci lost the derby, easy for Peja
KB Rahoveci lost its second game in 13 rounds in Kosovo league. The leaders visited the second placed Bashkimi and in a hard-fought contest were beaten 81-85. A great third quarter for the hosts turned things around and after being down 3 at the break, they went up by 12. In the final quarter Rahoveci tried to make a comeback and even managed to tie the game but never took the lead and eventually lost.
Joshua McFolley was the top scorer for the visitors with his 17 points. Jure Gunjina had a double-double with 16 and 14 rebounds while Christian Bradford also had 16 points.
In that same round KB Peja had an easy away win over Lipjani 118-79. The visitors played free and with no pressure starting good already in the first minutes and never looking back after.
Drilon Hajrizi had a monster game with 43 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists while Henrik Sirko finished with 31 points and 9 rebounds.
After this round Rahoveci is still first in the standings with 11 wins and 2 defeats while Peja is 6th with 6-6 record but also with a game less.
