Domestic leagues: Academic Bultex 99 with second win in a row

BC Academic Bultex 99 recorded its second win in a row in Bulgarian league. The team hosted Spartak Pleven in Plovdiv and took 79-70 victory. 

The home side led from the first minutes and were ahead for the first half. At the break the difference was 9 points but the visitors didn′t give up and close the gap to 5 in the middle of the last quarter. Academic though scored the next 8 points and sealed off the game.

Shakir Smith had 17 points for the winners as Vasil Bachev and Vasilije Knezevic added 13 points apiece.

After 11 rounds Academic is in 5th place in the standings with 6 wins and 5 defeats.
