Akademik Plovdiv travels to North Macedonia for two games

BC Akademik Plovdiv is already in North Macedonia for another two games in Delasport Balkan League. Today at 19.30 local time the team will play against KK TFT in Skopje while on Friday evening at 17.00 hrs local time they will visit KK Kumanovo 2009.

Akademik is currently the only unbeaten team in the group and is the undisputed leader in the standings. TFT will try to win its third game in a row and hand Akademik their first loss. Both sides played last week in Plovdiv and it was an intriguing contest, so the home team will hope that playing in its gym will help. 

On the other side Kumanovo is the team having played the lowest number of games and with just three is last in the standings. Despite that however Kumanovo still has good chances of advancing but that goes through a win against Akademik. Beating the leader will give them not only confidence but also will "erase" the loss to Teodo at home. Kumanovo may also take advantage from any fatigue Akademik would have so this is something worth watching.
