Hapoel Gilboa Galil holds on to defeat Ironi Nahariya and win Group B

Hapoel Gilboa Galil is the winner of Group B in Delasport Balkan Laegue. The team hosted Ironi Nahariya and took 77-72 victory to put them on a 3-0 record and make them unreachable in first place. That puts GIlboa Galil in the Semifinal where the team will meet the winner of Group D for a place in the Second Stage of the competition. Before that on Wednesday Gilboa Galil will visit Maccabi Haifa for the last game of Group B but whatever the result is, no changes to the standings can happen. As for Ironi Nahariya, the team finished with 2-2 record and fought hard until the final buzzer in its attempt to finish first in the group.

An 11-0 run shortly after the start of the game put the hosts up by 10 points. After that they kept their double-digit lead until the end of first quarter while at one moment in the second, the visitors cut it to 6. The home team responded with a 7-0 run to restore the double-digit advantage but later Ironi finished the half with 4 points in a row and the difference was 8.

Gilboa Galil controlled the margin in the third quarter and the team kept distance from its opponent. At the end of it the lead was 12 points but the visitors didn't give up and started closing the gap in the fourth. With 2:55 to play the cut the deficit to just a point but first Hanochi scored a very important three-pointer and then Artsi stoled the ball and scored to make it a 6-point game. That was the key moment as the visitors couldn't respond after that.

Netanel Artsi was the top scorer for the winners with 14 points. Yotam Hanochi also did well by adding 13 as Yiftach Ziv added 11 and 7 rebounds.

The visitors were led by Joe Alexander who had a great game with 32 points while Jaron Blossomgame had 14.
