Two teams with a chance to take the last place for the Second Stage

Three games are left to be played in the First Stage of Delasport Balkan League and one of them will decide the fate of the last place for the Second Stage of the competition.

On Tuesday, KK TFT will host KK Ibar in Skopje and the final result of this match will determine which team will qualify.

The options are two and we'll look at them below:

Option 1: Win by TFT - in that case TFT will qualify for the Second Stage. They will be tied with Teodo with a 4-6 record but TFT will have the advantage due to winning by 18 points at home and losing by 15 in Tivat.

Option 2: Win by Ibar. In that case Teodo will qualify for the Second Stage. Ibar and Teodo will have an identical 4-6 record but the tiebreaker advantage will be for the Tivat team having won by 13 at home and lost by 6 away.

In other words only Teodo and TFT have a chance to qualify. Regardless of the result on Tuesday, Ibar can't reach the next stage and will finish its participation in the competition for the season.

Akademik Plovdiv, Beroe and Kumanovo 2009 have already qualified. What's left to be decided there is the final standings of the teams. Tonight in Plovdiv Akademik and Beroe are going to meet and if the hosts win the game, they'll finish first.
