Ironi Nahariya signs Cohen, Ben-Ya’akov, Akrish for a 2-year deal

One of the Delasport Balkan League participants - Ironi Nahariya, has added 3 more players to its roster for the upcoming 2021-2022 season. The team has announced the signing of last season’s Israeli National League’s Youngster Of The Year, Tomer Cohen.Cohen (23, 1.90), a Nahariya home-grown, has played for Hapoel Afula of the Israeli National League, averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 Rebounds and 1.6 assists in 29 minutes per game.
In addition to Cohen’s signing, Ironi Nahariya has announced the signings of Ofek Ben-Ya’akov and Noam Akrish.
Ofek Ben-Ya’akov (27, 2.00), Nahariya home-grown as well, has played for Nahariya this past season and have been showing continuous improvement throughout the past few seasons, playing for multiple teams in the Israeli National league (Hapoel Afula, Maccabi Kiriyat Motzkin, Hapoel Galil-Elion) until signing with Nahariya at the beginning of the previous season.
Noam Akrish (19, 2.01), a graduate from Red-Star Belgrade’s Basketball academy, and a member of Israel’s junior national teams, has played for Ironi Nahariya the past two seasons.
