Balkan started preparation for the new season with 11 players, waiting a new center

BC Balkan has started preparation for the upcoming season with 11 players, including some youngsters. The head coach Nebojsa Vidic is returning after two years at the helm of the team and took the two Americans Derrick Marks (who is on a tryout) and Kahlil Dukes along with others who are returning to the roster, to the court. The news here is that Stanimir Marinov who wasn't announced before.

The Turkish forward Alihan Demir will join in the next few days while Balkan is also expecting American center Travin Thibodeux soon.

Thibodeux is joining from Ukranian side BC Kyiv where he finished last season. He took part in 33 local league games and averaged 5.3 points and 4.8 rebounds. In four FIBA Europe Cup matches he had 4.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. The American has graduated from University of New Orleans and after played for Fort Wayne in NBA G-League.
