Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion recorded its third win in a row in Group A of Delasport Balkan League. The Israeli side finished its trip in North Macedonia on a high note after beating KK Kumanovo 2009 96-87. It was thanks to a good start to the game which helped the visitors took a big lead, and despite some let downs, they managed to hold on and stay undefeated. Next week Hapoel will host Maccabi Next Urban Haifa while Kumanovo will travel to Botevgrad to play Balkan on November 9th.

After exchanging baskets early, Hapoel managed to make an 11-0 run to go up by 10 points. Soon the lead was increased to 17 making it a 20-2 run but when the buzzer for the end of the quarter sounded, the difference was 13. The second quarter started with another run by the visitors. Thanks to an 11-2 they managed to go up by 22 points and after that Kumanovo finally was able to make a run on their own. With 14 straight points the hosts cut the deficit to just 8 but Hapoel answered to go up by 14 at the break.

At the start of the second half Hapoel once again increased its lead to over 20 points. That happened thanks to a hot start but then Kumanovo responded to close the gap around 10. From that moment on there were no more big runs for any team as the visitors managed to control the difference and finished the game without being threathened.

Ikenna Iroegbu was the top scorer for the winners with 22 points. Nimrod Levi did well by adding 18 and 7 rebounds as Isaiah Eisendorf had 15 points.

The hosts were led by Nenad Zivcevic who had a great game to finish with 33 points. Jonathan Holmes was the next best scorer with 14 while Djordje Kaplanovic had 11 points and 7 rebounds.
