Gavalyugov becomes the youngest ever to play in Delasport Balkan League

There was a historic moment during the game between Balkan and Levski from Group A of Delasport Balkan League which was played yesterday. With 24 seconds on the game clock, the head coach of The Greens - Nebojsa Vidic decided to let in play 15-year old Aleksandar Gavalyugov.

When he stepped foot on the court, he became the youngest ever player to have been a part of a game in Delasport Balkan League history. Gavalyugov was born on January 23rd, 2006. Despite the fact he didn't touch the ball, history was written and he had his first minutes in an official basketball game with the senior team.
