The first month of action in Delasport Balkan League has already passed and we are now able to have some takeaways from it. There is just one unbeaten team in the competition left which says a lot about how competitive the league us. Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion leads the way in Group A and has so far been the most impressive one in the first month. The other teams in Group A have less games so they still have some catch-up to do. It's hard to predict how the group will evolve and the month of December will be very telling of that. It will be a busy one as there will be a lot of games and the situation- will be much more clear once it's over. We are going to start with two games of KK Navico Akademija FMP in Israel and also the derby match between Levski and Balkan. The teams will have between 4 and 5 games during he month as it most definitely will be an exhausting one. So far it's clear that Hapoel is the team to beat in the group but others are also eager to show that they deserve a place in Stage 2 and will be able to prove it. Maccabi Next Urban Haifa and Balkan are also ambitions and have quality rosters and it will be interesting to see what effect will the coaching change have in Kumanovo.
The things in Group B are a bit different as more teams have played more games. Akademik Plovdiv started on fire and won their first four games before losing to TFT at home. It's the North Macedonian side that showed a good condition before the break and Beroe and Sigal Prishtina are also doing well. We are yet to see a lot from Ironi Nahariya as the team has just two games and will have three more in December. January will be much busier for them as it is when the places for Stage 2 will be decided. So far Ibar is the only team in the group without a win but the team will be hoping to change that soon. December will be very telling on which teams will advance to the next stage. The action will start on December 1st with Ironi Nahariya hosting Akademik Plovdiv and from that point on we are going to start checking on the standings even more as after more games are played, we'll have a better picture on what the chances of each team are.
So, don't miss the action in Delasport Balkan League. More interesting games are coming and the teams will be fighting hard to earn their spot in Stage 2.
