BC Akademik Plovdiv lost for third time this season in Group B of Delasport Balkan League and for second against Ironi Rain Nahariya. Here is what the head coach of the Plodiv team Yordan Yankov had to say following the match:

"I want to congratulate the fans. It was very nice to see so many people in the hall. We lacked experience, class and players against such a team. I used fewer players today. Nikolay Titkov was injured and will need a little more time to get in shape. I am proud of the boys and of the fact that we were close to tie the score and this is a success for us. It will be difficult for us with the tight schedule of matches that we have, but I hope to win against Sigal in our next match of the Balkan League."

Nikolay Nikolov was the top scorer for Akademik with hist 14 points. Here are his words following the match: "We fought a lot. We approached the game quite seriously. We had studied their game in attack and defense. We showed a good performance, a few mistakes deprived us of a chance for victory. We can beat Sigal, they have changes in the roster from the first match in which we defeated them. I think we are better than the beginning of the season. This match was a very good preparation for the one with Rilski sportist in the NBL. I want to thank the fans, a lot of people came to support us."
