Barak Peleg: At the break we told the team to play with pride

Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion recorded its sixth win in a row in Group A after beating BC Balkan away. Here is what the head coach of the Israeli side Barak Peleg had to say following the game:

"We expected such a game as Balkan is a really good team. They were much more aggressive than us and I wasn't happy how we started the game. Fortunately I have my assistant coaches who raised their voice and it showed after the break. We really respect Balkan because they are a good team. We changed some things in our game in the second half and we finished good.

We didn't underestimate them. We talked about that a lot. Yes, we have a tough schedule but I always want my team to play hard. At the break we weren't talking about basketball we just told them to play with pride.

Delasport Balkan League gives opportunity to me to give more minutes to players who are not playing much. We are sharing the minutes. To me this league is to give the young players a chance to play but I'm happy from my whole team. We also need time for the new players like Mashour and Stove."

Ike Iroegbu was the top scorer for the winners with 23 points and some important baskets. Here are his words following the victory in Botevgrad:

"It was a close game. They did a good job, especially in the first half when they were more aggressive and we had to change something. I think we responded really well after the break. We started playing more aggressively and we communicated more on defense. We played as a team. Every win is nice but it's a team one. We need to overcome the difficulties together."
