Glen Rice Jr. finished with 19 points for Maccabi Next Urban Haifa but it wasn't enough for his team to defeat Balkan. Here is what he had to say following the game:

“We made a couple of mistakes defensively, they scored the shots that we did not. They had 10 turnovers less than us and they used the opportunities that we did not. We have to take care about that to play better next game.

They moved the ball well, scored many 3-pointers, there big guys played well too. We were in foul trouble.

We played pretty good in Balkan league so far, but i am here from December and had only 3 games. For me this is my first loss. We have to play better on defence and harder from the beginning till the end. They scored too much today.

I am happy to be back in Israel and to play for the team. I played in Nicaragua before that and our goals now are to get better every day, play hard. We are trying to build chemistry and play better for the second part of the season.”
