Impressive Sigal Prishtina records a great win over Hapoel Galil Elion

KB Sigal Prishtina underlined its ambitions to reach Final 4 of Delasport Balkan League after starting Stage 2 in a great way. The Kosovo team defeated Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion 74-68 at home and showed that it will fight for first place in Group C. The team is now tied with Levski with 2-1 record while Hapoel and Akademik are following with 1-2. The next game for the Prishtina team is against Levski at home on March 31st while Hapoel is traveling to Plovdiv to play Akademik on Wednesday.

The match tonight was controlled by the home team as they led from start to finish. Thanks to a very good second quarter, especially defensively, they managed to take a double-digit advantage. After the break Sigal controlled the difference and never really allowed Hapoel to come close and challenge them. With 3:30 to play the hosts were up by 15 and it was at that moment that the visitors started cutting the deficit. They did it but it was too little to late and at the end the home side celebrated a great win.
