Barak Peleg: It was a very important victory for us after losing in Prishtina

Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion left no chances for Akademik Plovdiv as the team led from start to finish to record a convincing win. Here is what head coach Barak Peleg had to say following the game:

“It was a very, very important victory for us after the loss to Sigal. We also lost in the local championship and so we accumulated losses. Every victory is important to us. It is good that we managed to give a chance to some of the young players to play more minutes. This is good for team chemistry. For us, the Balkan League is important, and we want to play more games. We travel a lot of times and sometimes we get tired, but these matches are good for the team.”

Bryce Washington was the top scorer for Hapoel with 13 points and said the following:

“We had a difficult match in Prishtina, in which we lost. Today we did our best. We played great on defense and we managed to win. We can do something great, we are a great team and we will see what will happen this season in the Balkan League.”
