Yordan Yankov: We played a very strong game

Akademik Plovdiv had a good game but fell short and lost to Levski at home. Here is what head coach Yordan Yankov had to say after the match:

"I want to congratulate the boys for this match, although we did not win, we washed away much of the shame of the match with Hapoel. Today we played against a strong opponent - Levski, who were with all their new additions. We didn't manage to keep the match even and in the last minutes if the result was like that, we could have won. We played a very strong game, which I hope will give us the confidence we need for the match with Rilski Sportist for the Cup. I expect us to perform at a high level in the Cup tournament. For me, the most important thing is to show desire, enthusiasm and make the audience happy."
