Two important days in Delasport Balkan League coming up

Delasport Balkan League action is returning tonight as two important days are coming up. A lot of questions will be answered and already tomorrow we’ll know one of the participants in the Final 4.

We start tonight with Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion hosting BC Akademik Plovdiv. The visitors still have their chances of finishing third but they need to win in Israel and hope that Sigal Prishtina loses its three remaining matches. In the meantime, Hapoel is fighting for the first place and a direct qualification for Final 4 so they’ll be going all out for the win tonight.

On Thursday evening we have another Group C game in which Sigal Prishtina hosts BC Levski. Both sides are in the fight with Hapoel for the first position so the game is of a big importance. By winning this match Levski will take a huge advantage so The Blues will give it their all to do so. The home side is improving in recent weeks so they are also in with a chance and will give their best to tie Levski in the standings.

The other game on Thursday is between Ironi Nahariya and Balkan. Currently the home side has one win advantage, but the visitors are with a game less as both sides have one defeat. The outcome of the game will decide which team will qualify directly for the Final 4 and it’s simple – whichever wins will advance directly while the losing side will have to play in the quarterfinals. That’s why a lot of eyes will be on that match, and it will surely be worth watching.

There is also one game to be played on Saturday as Maccabi Next Urban Haifa is hosting TFT. The hosts have a huge advantage in the standings so they can afford to lose by less than 19 points and still finish no lower than third. TFT’s only chance of advancing to the next round is by winning by 21 points in Israel and then winning in Botevgrad against Balkan so the task in front of the team is really tough.
