Maccabi Next Urban Haifa completed a comeback win in its last game of Group D. The Israeli side hosted TFT and took 91-85 victory despite starting bad and going down by double-digits early. With that game Maccabi finished the group on a 3-3 record and kept its chance of finishing second alive. For that to happen TFT will need to defeat Balkan on April 8th when the last match of the group will be played. The North Macedonian side in the meantime, was eliminated from the competition tonight as it stands with 0-5 record and can’t catch the teams above.

TFT had a great start to the game and thanks to a high efficiency scoring managed to go up by 12 points after ten minutes. Maccabi bounced back in the second quarter to close the gap which went down to just 2 points at the break, and it stayed the same after 30 minutes. The hosts completed the comeback when they took the lead for good, thanks to a 7-0 run. That happened with 3 minutes played in the final quarter and they held on until the end.

Raphniel Putney had a great game for the winners finishing with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Kwame Vaughn did well with 18 points as Raziel Hayun added 16.

The visitors were led by Landrius Horton who finished with 30 points and 6 rebounds. Viktor Tashovski added 12 points as Jermaine Bishop had 11 and 8 assists.
