BC Balkan finished second in Group D of Delasport Balkan League and will play against Sigal Prishtina in the playoffs for the Final 4. The Botevgrad team defeated TFT 104-53 at home to end above Maccabi Next Urban Haifa in the standings. There was no real story in the game as the hosts started great and took a big lead after just ten minutes. The visitors missed some key players due to the fact that they were already eliminated so their absence affected the overall performance. TFT finishes with 0-6 record in the group but the good thing for the team is that for second season in a row they advanced from Stage 1.

As already mentioned, Balkan had no trouble in winning this game. The hosts started in an aggressive manner and were up by 26 points after just 20 minutes. The lead increased over 30 following the second quarter and until the end of the game they just controlled it and secured a convincing victory.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners with DeVaughn Washington leading the way with 19 points. Dimitar Dimitrov added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists while Aleksandar Gavalyugov had the highest scoring game of his young career with 14 points.

Strahil Nikolov was the top scorer for TFT with 17 points while Viktor Tashovski added 11 points and 4 assists.
