Strong second half takes Balkan to the Final 4

Balkan is the third team to secure a place in the Final 4 of Delasport Balkan League. Having to overcome a 2-point deficit after Game 1, The Greens from Botevgrad defeated KB Sigal Prishtina 82-63 at home to secure its place in Nahariya. It was thanks to a solid third quarter in which the hosts managed to build a big lead which was enough for them to qualify.The first half was very close as nothing separated the teams after 20 minutes. After the break Balkan stared with 7 points in a row to take the lead for good and never gave it up after. The visitors were able to cut the lead to just 3 but 9-0 run gave the home side 12-point edge at the end of the third period. In the final ten minutes they managed to control the lead and to increase it for the delight of their fans.
Christian Jones had a great game for the winners leading the way with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Derrick Marks added 14 points while Ahmaad Rorie was close to a triple-double with 12 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds.
The visitors were led by Meriton Ismaili who finished with 16 points as Dachon Burke scored 10.
