Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elion is the first team for the final of Delasport Balkan League on Sunday evening. The team put a great overall performance to defeat the hosts of the Final 4 – Ironi Rain Nahariya 80-46. Hapoel dominated the match from start to finish as the team’s depth and quality showed off on the court. The home team tried but just didn’t have any chance of fighting for the win as the absence of their most experienced and most important player – Yogev Ohayon, was also a key factor for their bad performance. In the final on Sunday at 20:30 Hapoel will play the winner of the second semifinal between Maccabi Next Urban Haifa and Balkan.

Hapoel got off to a great start and scored the first 10 points of the game. Rosenberg was able to finally score for the home team as he hit 5 points in a row but the visitors responded with 8-0 run to increase the lead even further. They led by 12 points at the end of the first quarter as Ironi scored the first basket of the second. Hapoel though went on another great run – 17-2 so the difference went up to 25 points before Rosenberg was able to score a basket and a free throw right at the end of the half. After the break nothing changed much as the visitors kept leading by a big margin and managed to end the game without any pressure.

All 12 players of Hapoel took part in the game with just Moskovits not being able to score. Nimrod Levi was the top performer with 11 points and 8 rebounds as Bryce Washington added 10 and 7.

The hosts shot just 2 of 25 from the 3-point line which compared to 10 of 32 for Hapoel was too much to overcome.  Stephaun Branch had 11 points for the hosts while Alexey Chubrevich added 10 and 5 rebounds.
