Elitzur Ironi Netanya will join Delasport Balkan League

There will be a newcomer from Israel for the next season of Delasport Balkan League. Elitzur Ironi Netanya will make its debut on the competition after coming into an agreement with the BIBL management.

Elitzur Netanya is one of Israel oldest clubs, having beein founded back in 1959. The team has a long history of playing in the country's top two divisions until 2015 when it was dissolved due to financial problems. In the summer of 2016 the club was re-established and started its new journey from the lowest division and started climbing back to the top. In 2021 the team was able to reach the final of the National League while last season they finished 7th and lost the quarterfinal series.

In the past few seasons the head coach is Ruben Najberger and in the next few weeks there will be more info about the roster for the upcoming season.
