Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva officially joins Delasport Balkan League family

Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva from the Israeli Super League is the 3rd Israeli team to join the 15th anniversary season 2022-2023 of the Delasport Balkan League.

The club from the Southern Capital of Israel had registered officially after the approval of the Israeli Basketball Federation and together with Maccabi Next Urban Haifa, Elitzur Ironi Netanya, and 9 more Balkan teams from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, will be competing from October until April.

The BIBL management is happy and proud to add another professional and high-level sports organization to our “big family”.

For the last few years, Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Beer Sheva has established its place among the top basketball clubs in Israel. A long 6-year-journey in the lower leagues came to an end back during the 2017/18 season after a historic success when the team qualified for the Israel Basketball Super League. Working hard throughout the years Hapoel Beer Sheva built a professional sports organization popular now with its large fan base, promoting young potential players and establishing a club rooted within the local community.
