PAYABL AEL Limassol tops Delasport Balkan League after a narrow win against KB Peja

PAYABL AEL Limassol topped the table in Delasport Balkan League with its 5th win for the season. It came after a good fought victory against KB Peja at home - 85-80.

The game was very even from the start, with Kosovo team leading throughout most of the first quarter. AEL came back to have advantage in the second but couldn't open a gap before the break.

AEL had better moments after the restart, at times leading by 9 and reached the biggest lead in the entire game in the beginning of the fourth.

Then Peja returned from 12 down to just 3, with a 12-3 run and kept the host team on its toes till the end.

Jordan Sheperd ignited with 29 points and 8 assists for the win, and Darrel Davis had his debut for AEL with 12.

Larry Thomas led Peja with 21 points and 15 assists.
