Ulcinj tied the series against Mornar, third game in Bar will decide the last team in the Final 4

KK Ulcinj attained an important victory in the second leg ofEUROHOLD Balkan League ¼ final playoff, as the hosts won the Montenegrin derby against the young team of Mornar Bar 80:68 and tied the series. Ulcinj impressed with a great second quarter, where the team build a strong lead, which didn’t drop until the end. The decisive third game will be played on next Wednesday - 6th of april in Topolica Hall in Bar.  
 
      The game started with a fast offensive plays for both sides, as Tepavcevic for Ulcinj and young Nikola Ivanovic from the guests scored three-pointers, followed but two successful lay-ups by the 16 years prospect. Nikola Ljulic dunk the ball, after that KK Ulcinj took their first time-out 5 minutes before the end of the first period. Until the end of the quarter the tempo still continued to be fast, as nobody could manage to took a lead more than 2 points - 17:18. 
 
         Second period started with two missed free-throws by Mornar’s latest signing Marko Kuvelijc. First Milos Djurisic made a three-pointer, followed by fast break ended with two points by Jeftic, gave to Ulcinj 4 points lead after 12 minutes of play. The hosts continued with their good efforts in this quarter, managing to build a 9 points lead in the 17th minute. Young Montenegrin squad of Mornar made a lot of turnovers in this period of the game, as they couldn’t take the right decisions in the key situations. Marko Mijovic from Ulcinj made an incredible three-pointer in the last second of the quarter, to set the score to 43:32 at the half.
 
         After the break KK Mornar started inthe best possible way, making a 13:3 series and dropping the lead of Ulcinj to only 1 point in the 25th minute – 46:45. Djordje Pavicevic’s boys got better in defence, but after another streak of stutid unforced errors, Ulcinj increased once again the difference to double-digit – 57:47, 1 minute and 30 seconds before the end of the quarter. Until the end of the third period both sides exchanged baskets for 59:49 after 30 minutes on the court.
 
         In the last 10 minutes, Mornar didn’t manage to find a way to turn the things in the other way and failed to decrease their trail. In the decisive period young team from Bar tried to reduced the difference, but Ulcinj didn’t let their lead to drop.            Marko Mijovic led Ulcinj tonight with 28 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Milos Djurisic scored 17 for the hosts. On the other side Nemanja Radovic continues to impress, finishing with double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Ivan Jelenic added 17 points, while Radovan Pesic ended 13 in the losing case.
